What Hevy does better
- It runs everywhere: iPhone, Android, Apple Watch, Wear OS and the web.
- A real social feed. You can follow other lifters, like and comment on their workouts, and save their routines.
- You can plan routines and look at your progress on a computer.
What Menos does better
- It picks your next weight for free. The first session of a big lift ends with an ALL OUT set to calibrate it; after that, hit the top of your rep range on every set and the weight goes up, miss twice in a row and it deloads about 10%.
- Unlimited plans and your full history, free. A Tailor-Made plan fits your goal, your days, your equipment and your injuries.
- Every exercise is a boss and every set is an attack. Overkill a set and the guardian samurai leaps in.
- Train live with up to 4 friends in a co-op party, or duel them pound for pound. Free to host and join.
- Long-range charts, calculators and CSV export are free, and the extras are $9.99 once instead of a subscription. Coming soon
How to switch
- In Hevy, go to Profile > Settings > Export & Import Data > Export Data and choose Export Workouts. Save the file.
- In Menos, import that CSV. Your exercises are matched to Menos's catalog, so your PRs and charts come with you. Coming soon
- Lift. Logging Mode turns the dungeon off if you only want the tracker.
