Agreement to Terms

By checking the agreement box in the App, creating an account, or using the Menos mobile application ("the App") or the website menosapp.com ("the Website"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"), including the assumption of risk, release, and binding arbitration provisions below. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use Menos.

Menos is operated by Menos App LLC ("we," "our," or "us"), a Wyoming limited liability company.

Description of Service

Menos is the lifting RPG: a real progressive-overload weightlifting tracker inside a pixel-art dungeon RPG. A rule-based engine builds a Tailor-Made plan from your goal, schedule, equipment and injuries, or follows a plan you make yourself with Build Your Plan, and adjusts your weights from your training history. On top of the tracker, you pick a hero, earn XP and levels, and fight a boss for each exercise in Dungeon Mode, or use Logging Mode to log without the game. You can train live with friends in co-op parties, challenge them to duels, join guilds and tournaments, and join the opt-in Hall of Lifters leaderboard. Menos also includes Upkeep reminders, Training Arena warm-ups, plate and warm-up calculators, strength charts, CSV export, Hevy and Strong import, fight clips and Wrapped recaps.

Menos is designed for informational and fitness tracking purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before starting any exercise program or making changes to your fitness routine.

Health and Safety; Assumption of Risk

Strength training carries an inherent risk of injury, including serious injury. Lifting weights and doing the exercises, stretches, warm-ups, and workouts suggested by Menos can cause muscle strains, joint and back injuries, cardiovascular events, and, in rare cases, death. These risks exist even when exercises are performed correctly.

Before using Menos you should consult a physician, especially if you have or have had an injury, a heart, blood-pressure, or other medical condition, are pregnant, or are new to exercise. Stop exercising immediately and seek medical attention if you feel pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, or anything that feels wrong.

Workouts, weights, sets, reps, rest times, warm-ups, and progressions in Menos are generated automatically from the information you enter. They are general suggestions, not personalized medical or professional training advice. You are solely responsible for deciding whether an exercise and load are safe for you, for using proper form, equipment, spotters, and safety bars, and for training within your own limits. Demonstration videos and cues are illustrative only.

By using Menos, you voluntarily assume all risks of injury, illness, or death arising from any exercise or activity you perform in connection with the App. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release Menos App LLC and its members, officers, employees, and agents from all claims arising from or related to any such injury, illness, or death, except to the extent caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.

Account Registration

To use Menos, you must create an account with Sign in with Apple. If you choose to hide your email, Apple may provide us with a private relay email address instead. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By registering, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration and to keep your account information up to date.

Pricing

Menos is free to download and use. The free tier includes unlimited workout logging, training plans and all progression, your full history and stats, the plate and warm-up calculators, strength charts, CSV export, Hevy and Strong import, co-op parties of up to 4, duels, joining any guild, tournament or party, the Hall of Lifters, invites and referrals, fight clips, Wrapped recaps, streaks, Upkeep reminders and the Training Arena warm-ups, along with any other feature the App describes as free.

“Menos Full” is an optional auto-renewing subscription. It unlocks the extras described in the App at the time you subscribe: goal bosses, cosmetics and a gold name in the Hall of Lifters, all four heroes, the rest timer on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island, logging sets from Apple Watch, saving workouts to Apple Health, and hosting private guilds, tournaments and parties of up to 8. Whoever hosts a guild, tournament or 8-player party needs Menos Full; joining one is always free.

We will not charge for joining co-op parties, duels, guilds or tournaments, for hosting co-op parties of up to 4 or duels, or for the Hall of Lifters, and we will not sell stats or XP, add energy limits, charge for streak protection, sell loot boxes, or show ads.

Auto-renewing Subscription

• Plans and price. Menos Full costs US $2.49 per month or US $19.99 per year. Prices may vary by country; the App shows the price in your local currency before you buy.
• Free trial. The annual plan includes a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. The monthly plan has no trial. If you subscribe during a free trial, any unused part of the trial is forfeited.
• Payment. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account when you confirm the purchase, or when a free trial ends.
• Automatic renewal. Your subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID account is charged for the renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.
• Manage or cancel. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings (Settings > your name > Subscriptions) at any time. If you cancel, Menos Full stays active until the end of the period you have paid for, then ends.
• Price changes. We may change the subscription price. Apple tells you before a price increase takes effect and, where required, asks for your consent; you can cancel before it applies.

Payments and Refunds

Apple processes all subscription payments under the App Store terms. We never receive or store your payment card details. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com; we cannot issue refunds directly. If Apple refunds a Menos Full subscription, the Menos Full that came from that subscription is removed from your account; Founder status and any referral reward still running are not affected.

License

While your Menos Full subscription is active, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Menos Full features. The license is tied to your Menos account and the Apple ID used for the subscription. Menos Full has no cash value and cannot be sold, transferred or exchanged, and Family Sharing is not available for it. You can restore a subscription on a new device on the Settings tab at Menos Full > Restore Purchases.

When a subscription ends, the Menos Full features stop working on your account; your workouts, history and progress are never deleted because a subscription ends. Menos Full is looks and extras only; it never affects stats or XP. We may revoke the license if you materially breach these Terms.

Founders

Accounts created before Menos Full becomes available for purchase, and accounts that paid for a Menos Pro subscription, receive Menos Full as a gift, together with a Founder crest and a gold display name (“Founder” status). Founders keep Menos Full free forever, with no subscription needed. The Founder grant is the same license described above, granted automatically at no charge and without an end date. It is non-transferable, has no cash value, and ends permanently if the account is deleted. A refund of a past purchase does not remove Founder status.

Referrals

Menos has a bring-two-friends reward. You may share your friend code, party link or invite link with people who want them. A new account that is less than 14 days old and adds your friend code or joins through your party or invite link is attributed to you, once. The referral counts when that account finishes two workouts within its first 21 days. When your second referral counts, you receive 3 months of Menos Full at no charge, starting at that moment and ending 3 calendar months later. The reward is the same license described above, for those 3 months. The reward is given once per account; further referrals do not extend or repeat it. When the 3 months end, the Menos Full features stop on your account unless you have Menos Full another way, such as an active subscription. This is a reward, not a purchase: it does not renew, has no cash value and cannot be transferred. The referral reward does not pause, cancel or refund an Apple subscription, and Apple keeps billing any subscription you leave active; you manage or cancel it in your Apple ID account settings. If you have both, Menos Full stays on until the later of your subscription’s end and the end of the 3 months. Founders are unaffected: they keep Menos Full free forever, and the reward gives them no extra benefit. A referral reward already granted under an earlier version of these Terms is kept.

We may change or end the referral program at any time. We may withhold or reverse rewards, and suspend the accounts involved, for self-referrals, fake or duplicate accounts, or other abuse. Only share invites with people who want them and in line with the law. Apple is not a sponsor of, and has no responsibility for, the referral program.

Menos Pro (Historical)

From June 22 to July 27, 2026, Menos offered an auto-renewing Menos Pro subscription ($6.99/month or $39.99/year), billed by Apple. It is no longer sold. Any remaining Apple subscription can be managed in Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions. Everyone who paid for Pro is a Founder.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use Menos for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, servers, or other users' accounts.
• Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the service.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App.
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the service.
• Share your account credentials with others or allow multiple people to use a single account.
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Community, Names and Reports

Some parts of Menos show your display name and activity to other people: the opt-in Hall of Lifters, co-op parties, duels, guilds, tournaments, friend codes and friends lists, and, if you turn it on, workout posts to the public Menos Discord.

You are responsible for the names you choose, including your display name and the names of guilds and tournaments you host. Do not use a name or title that is offensive, hateful, sexual, threatening, impersonates someone else, advertises, or infringes anyone's rights, and do not harass, threaten or cheat other players. Names are checked against a blocklist, and we may reject names that break these rules.

You can report another player or block them in the App; to report a guild or tournament name, report the player who hosts it. Reports go to our team, which reviews them and acts on objectionable content. Blocking hides the blocked player from you in the Hall of Lifters, your friends list and party invites. We may rename, hide or remove any name, guild, tournament, Hall entry or post, and may remove you from community features or suspend your account, if we believe it breaks these Terms.

Intellectual Property

The Menos app, website, logo, design, and all associated content are the intellectual property of Menos App LLC. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on our intellectual property without written permission.

You retain ownership of the workout data you enter into Menos. By using the service, you grant us a limited license to process your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

Disclaimers

Menos is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Menos is a fitness tracking application, not a medical device. We do not provide medical advice; the app is not a substitute for professional guidance from a certified personal trainer, physician, or other qualified health professional.

We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. You use Menos at your own risk.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Menos and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or personal injury arising from your use of the service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to these Terms or your use of Menos shall not exceed the greater of the amount you have paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim or fifty U.S. dollars ($50).

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Menos App LLC and its members, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of Menos, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another person.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Menos immediately, without notice, if you breach these Terms. We may also end accounts without cause, with notice in the App or by email, and then the Menos Full and Termination section below applies. You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it in the App on the Settings tab at Delete Account or by contacting us at [email protected]. Deleting your account does not cancel a Menos Full subscription; cancel it in your Apple ID account settings so you are not charged again. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases.

Menos Full and Termination

If we end your account without cause, an active Menos Full subscription stays active on a Menos account you create later with the same Apple ID, where Apple and RevenueCat allow us to restore it, and we will tell you how to cancel the subscription and request a refund from Apple. Termination for cause (a material breach of these Terms) does not entitle you to a refund from us.

If we stop operating Menos, we will give at least 90 days' notice in the App and by email. We will stop selling new Menos Full subscriptions when we give that notice, and Menos Full features stay available until the shutdown date. Cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings so it does not renew past the shutdown date. Refunds for Menos Full subscriptions are decided by Apple under its policies at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Dispute Resolution; Binding Arbitration; Class Action Waiver

Please read this section carefully. It affects your legal rights. Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us at [email protected] and try to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of Menos that is not resolved informally will be resolved by final and binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court. The arbitrator may award the same individual relief a court could. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.

Class action waiver. You and Menos App LLC agree that each may bring claims against the other only in an individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, or representative proceeding. You and we waive any right to a jury trial.

Opt-out. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing [email protected] within 30 days of first accepting these Terms, with your name and the email on your account and a statement that you opt out. If you opt out, or if this arbitration agreement is found unenforceable, disputes will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. For material changes, the App will ask you to agree to the updated Terms before you continue; otherwise, continued use of Menos after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

If we make material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you through the App or by email.
